Hot Roast Chestnuts

I know it seems a long way away, but it is planned that members of the 4930 Hagley Hall group will be manning the hot roast chestnut stand at Arley station on Sunday 18th December. This is during the Severn Valley Railways Santa Special service. So if you want to see Santa, then please book through the SVR website and if coming on the 18th December support us by buying some hot roast chestnuts, the essential winter warmer and family favourite.

Facebook Group

If you search for Hagley Hall or 4930 on Facebook now you will find we have set up a group for the Friends of Locomotive 4930 Hagley Hall. This is with the attention of raising awareness of the intention of the group to fund the overhaul, and to easily keep members up to date with events and progress. Also it makes it easy to share pictures of 4930 and communicate with members and people who are interested. If you are on Facebook it is well worth checking this out.

4930 Ale - COMING SOON

In the very near future it is intended that a special 4930 Ale will be brewed by Bewdley Brewery and that it will go on sale, with some of the profits raised being donated to the Friends of 4930 to add to the funds we need for when Hagley Hall is overhauled. When more details are available regarding this they will be updated to the website. What easier way to help Hagley Hall return to traffic than to enjoy a perfect pint.

Wild Swan Publications

Wild Swan Publications are kindly sending one of our latest leaflets out to their customers with every delivery that they make. This is a big step to raise awareness of the fund raising we are doing to get 4930 back into operation, and to hopefully get people interested in becoming a member of the Friends of Locomotive Hagley Hall Group. We thank Wild Swan for doing this for us.

Sales Stand Revenue

So far this year the Hagley Hall sales stand has been open for business at Bridgnorth for the Vintage Vehicle day and at Kidderminster for both the Members day and over the 1960's weekend. Over £600 has been raised so far and we hope to raise more from the sales stand in the future.
