Charters
We run a number of special charters on the Severn Valley Railway each year, as well as raising funds towards the restoration of 4930 'Hagley Hall' they provide a great day out on the Severn Valley Railway with many participants joining us time after time.
Photographic Charters
We are currently operating photographers charters where we arrange an
authentic train formation and run to a number of scenic locations throughout the
day to perform special photographic runpasts.

We are pleased to present two days of Photographic Charters this March in Support of the SVR 40th Anniversary Spring Reunion Gala.
Wednesday 3rd March 2010
61994 on 4 Carmine and Creams. Bewdley Start 09:00. Owing to engineering works
we only have access to the Kidderminster - Highley Section.
The very first 30742 Charters event was with the then 3442 and it is special to
see things come full circle and have a second crack with the Marquess this time
in BR Livery. My thanks to the SVR as this is effectively the only day we can
run a charter with the engine. It may also I believe be the only time during
its visit it will run with BR stock. We will make use of the turntable during
the day to maximise photo opportunities. Cost is £40.00.
Friday 19th March 2010
43106 on 3-4 BR Maroon MK1’s. Full Line with a Bridgnorth start at 09:00. We
will work our way down the valley, Lunch at Kidderminster and turn and then
back to Bridgnorth. This will the first appearance of 43106 on a photo charter.
Cost £40.00.
All profits from these two events will go to the restoration of Hagley Hall. We
hope you can join us for one or both of these two special days out on the SVR
